- 1 apple (sliced thin)
- 1 plum (sliced thin)
- 1 pear (sliced thin)
- 2-3 cinnamon sticks
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a pitcher with filtered ice water.
- Keep in refrigerator and continue to add more water as needed. Infused water will last a couple of days.
2. Turmeric Tea

- 3 tsp ground turmeric
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp fresh grated ginger
- Zest of one lemon
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Place all the ingredients in a teapot and cover with boiling filtered water.
- Allow to infuse for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Pour into two large mugs using a fine tea strainer.
3. Pumpkin Spice Latte
Autumn is not complete without the classic; all hail the pumpkin spice latte. This drink is a seasonal sensation for a reason… its SCRUMPTIOUS! You will need:
- 2 – 3 tsp pumpkin purée
- 2 shots of espresso
- 2 shots of coffee syrup like hazelnut or caramel
- Spices like ginger, cinnamon or nutmeg (pinch of each)
- 150 ml milk, oat milk or soy milk
Instructions;
- Combine the pumpkin purée, espresso, syrup and your choice spices in a large mug and mix.
- Then, steam the milk (either slowly in a pan or using your coffee machine attachment if you have one).
- Slowly pour the milk into the mug and top with an additional pinch of spices.
- Enjoy with an episode of Gilmore Girls or a Halloween classic movie!
Halloween Inspired Drinks Recipes for the Children…
1. Edible Eyeball Water
This infused water is not only eye-catching, it’s eye wateringly tasty! Moreover, preparing this fun Halloween beverage is also a splendid spooky activity that the kids can join in with before the celebrations begin! The best bit is that this drink is not only chills-inducing, it’s also a good source of antioxidants and B-complex vitamins that’ll help fuel your little monsters all night long without the sugar rush and crash that comes with feasting on sweets all evening. You will need:
- 20 lychee, peeled and pitted
- 20 large blueberries
- 12 cups of filtered water
Instructions:
- First insert the blueberries into the cavities of the lychee to make creepy edible eyeballs.
- In a pitcher or water infuser, pour the filtered water and drop in the edible eyeballs.
- Refrigerate for a couple of hours for a bold and sweet-flavoured infused water.
3. Gummy Worm Potion
This whimsical potion gives your kids a little hit of sugar with some yummy gummy worms along with pure tasting filtered water and apples, thus making it a perfect blend of scrumptious, healthy and entertaining! You will need:
- 4 cups of filtered water
- 2 packets of orange-flavoured gelatine mix 4 cups of apple juice
- 2 big apples
- 1 packet of gummy snakes
Instructions:
- In a sauce pan, stir the orange-flavoured gelatine mix in the hot filtered water until completely dissolved.
- Add the apple juice, stir until you bring the mixture down to a simmer.
- Peel the 2 apples and cut them into thin slices.
- Add the apple slices which will sink to the bottom and some gummy snakes.
- Pour into a big punch bowl and refrigerate for a few hours.
3. Shrek’s Swamp Water Punch
Not only does this recipe top the list for kid-approved flavoured water ideas and stay true to Halloween theme, but it’s also packed with vitamin C! You will need:
- 2 (3 oz.) packages of lime flavoured gelatine mix
- 1 quart of hot water
- 1 (46 fluid oz.) can of pineapple juice
- 2 (12 fluid oz.) cans of frozen orange juice concentrate
- 2 cups of white sugar
- 4½ cups of cold water
- 2 litres of ginger ale
Instructions:
- First, dissolve the gelatine mix in 1 quart of hot water in a sauce pan.
- Once the gelatine is cool, get a large punch bowl and mix in the pineapple juice, orange juice concentrate, sugar and cold water, then finish with ginger ale.
- Serve and watch your little one’s eyes light up with glee at the swamp water that Shrek himself would approve of!
Treat Drinks for the Adults this Autumn…
1. Hot Toddy
After the kids are in bed or after a long day’s work treat yourself to a warm, tasty alcoholic treat. These will warm the cockles of your heart and make any autumnal evening that bit cosier. You will need:
- 1 tea bag
- 250 ml filtered water
- 50-60 ml whisky (depending on how strong you like it)
- 1 lemon juice
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Place the tea bag in a heatproof jug and cover with 250 ml of filtered boiling water.
- While that’s infusing, divide the remaining ingredients between two mugs.
- Remove the tea bag from the jug and divide the tea between the mugs.
- Serve with lemon slices.
2. Naughty Hot Chocolate
You will need:
- 100 ml of Drambuie or spiced rum
- 350 ml milk, oat milk or soy milk
- 50 ml filtered water
- 3 tbsp high-quality cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp golden granulated sugar
Instructions:
- Combine all the ingredients in a pan and gently stir on a low heat for 3 – 4 mins. Don’t bring to a boil.
- Allow to cool for 1 – 2 minutes, then dived between 2 mugs.
- Dust with cocoa powder and serve with a large marshmallow.
