What is the difference between a Culligan ZeroWater filter jug and a filter water dispenser?

Our filtered water dispensers differ from our competitors because they use a patented five-stage filter system that uses the science of deionisation to remove 99.6% of Total Dissolved Solids. This compares to most other filters using a two or three-step filter system.

Each dispenser comes with a TDS meter, which you can use intermittently to measure the level of contaminants in your water.

When the meter reads above 006, you should replace the filter.

Other signs that you need to change the filter include:

• Difference in taste
• You spot impurities in your water
• The flow of water slows down from the jug

TDS stands for Total Dissolved Solids, which refers to the amount of dissolved minerals, salts, metals and other impurities in your tap water.
