The Hidden Side to London's Water...
The UK’s water infrastructure is aging, with many supply networks still relying on pipes installed over a century ago—some even containing lead.
This outdated system raises concerns about contamination, especially as water companies struggle to maintain and upgrade their networks. Beyond these problems, there is a growing alarm over the presence of ‘forever chemicals’ (PFAS) in UK water supplies.
A recent investigation revealed that PFAS, linked to serious health risks, have been detected in drinking water across the country. With rising concerns about microplastics, industrial pollutants, and the reliability of public water treatment, more UK households are looking for ways to ensure their water is truly clean.

Why London is Switching Over to Zerowater

How it Works
First Stage: Activated carbon and an oxidation reduction alloy remove chlorine and other heavy metals, as well as improving the taste of the water.
Second Stage: An ion exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids, including those that may be leached into the water from piping, such as aluminum, lead, zinc, and nitrate.
Third Stage: Negative and positive ion exchange resin strips foreign ions from the water molecules, returning them to a pure state.
Fourth Stage: An ultra-fine screen and non-woven membrane layers remove ultra-fine particles.
Ion Exchange Technology: The filter contains an ion exchange layer that replaces cations with hydrogen ions and anions with hydroxyl ions, which eventually form pure water (H2O)
